Tampa Bay Devil Rays cheap tickets. Tropicana Field is the home of Florida's Tampa Bay Rays. As part of the American League of the MLB, the Rays were officially established in 1998. Unfortunately, the team has never mounted a successful campaign in pursuit of a title (they have never participated in a World Series). Most ballparks have something unique about them and Tropicana Field is no exception. It is the only professional sports facility that features live cownose rays. The park partnered with the Florida Aquarium and there are over 30 rays that fans can touch and feed throughout the game. That is really kickass!

A Brief History of Tampa Bay Devil Rays
The Tampa Bay Rays played their inaugural game on March 31, 1998. They battled the Detroit Tigers in front of 45,369 fans. Unfortunately, despite an early home run by Wade Boggs, the team lost by a wide margin. Following 3 years of poor performance, management began acquiring younger players and slashing payroll. Though the Rays showed small signs of improvement during the 2004 season, they have yet to escape the image as one of the worst teams in professional baseball, and where the team kinda sucks the tickets can be found cheap. Devil Ray tickets for sale cheap right, take advantage of a great MLB experience for a very good price.
The management of the Tampa Bay Rays hopes that 2008 brings a marked change to their past performance. They have aggressively increased payroll, begun negotiation for a new stadium and have continued to pursue young players who are at the beginning of their career. So far, the Rays' strategy seems to be working. They've mounted an impressive record and are on track to have one of the best seasons in their short history.
While the Tampa Bay Rays have yet to show Major League Baseball that they're a team to be feared, a few seasons of diligence and hard work may change their image.
